Et: Tallinna vanalinna kitsad tänavad olid täis elevust.
En: The narrow streets of Tallinn's Old Town were full of excitement.

Et: Päike paistis ja õhk oli soe.
En: The sun was shining and the air was warm.

Et: Mari kõndis Raekoja platsi poole.
En: Mari was walking towards the Town Hall Square.

Et: Käes oli Jaanipäeva eelõhtu.
En: It was the evening before Midsummer's Day.
