Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar fore hyfryd ym mis Mai, roedd Branwen yn cerdded o gwmpas muriau uchel Castell Conwy yn chwilio am rywun i'w harwain.
En: On a lovely morning in the month of May, Branwen was walking around the tall walls of Conwy Castle in search of someone to guide her.

Cy: Sylweddolodd yn gyflym nad oedd hi'n canfod y tywysydd twristiaeth.
En: She quickly realized that she couldn't find the tourist guide.

Cy: Weithiau, mae lwc yn chwarae gemau rhyfedd â ni ac yn union fel hynny, cwrddodd â Rhys, dyn ifanc gyda swyn a gŵyddoniad, fel arfer, mae pobl yn camgymryd ef fel rhywun doeth a chraff.
En: Sometimes, luck plays strange games with us and just like that, she met Rhys, a young man with charm and charisma, whom people often underestimated as someone knowledgeable and astute.

Cy: "Maddeuwch i mi," gofynnodd Branwen, a oedd yn llawn chwilfrydedd am hanes y castell, "a allech chi ddangos i mi o gwmpas a siarad â mi am hanes y castell?"
En: "Excuse me," Branwen asked, curious about the history of the castle, "could you show me around and talk to me about the history of the castle?"

Cy: Daeth gwên ar wyneb Rhys, a theimlodd ar unwaith fel pe bai’n rhan o antur.
En: A smile appeared on Rhys's face, and he felt as if he was part of an adventure.

Cy: "Wrth gwrs, gadewch i ni gychwyn yn y neuadd fawr." Rhoddodd ateb pendant i Branwen heb feddwl am y camgymeriad,
En: He gave a definite answer to Branwen without thinking twice, "Of course, let's start in the grand hall."

Cy: Yn y cyfamser, roedd Eira, ffrind gorau Branwen, yn sefyll y tu ôl iddyn nhw yn ceisio peidio â chwerthin.
En: Meanwhile, Eira, Branwen's best friend, stood behind them trying to hold back her laughter.

Cy: Roedd hi'n gwybod nad oedd Rhys yn tywysydd twristiaeth, ond doedd hi ddim yn gallu gwrthsefyll gweld y gwir yn dod i’r golwg.
En: She knew that Rhys wasn't a tour guide, but she couldn't resist seeing the truth unfold.

Cy: Fel tywysydd dychmygol, dechreuodd Rhys ddweud storïau am y brenhinoedd a breninesau a oedd yn arfer byw yn y castell.
En: As an imaginative guide, Rhys began to tell stories about the kings and queens who used to live in the castle.

Cy: Gan ei fod yn anghywir ar varios achlysuron, doedd dim ond Eira oedd yn sylweddoli.
En: Being inaccurate at times, only Eira realized it.

Cy: Sôn am ryfelwyr dewr a bwystfilod chwedlonol, taniodd ei ddychymyg Branwen.
En: He spoke of brave warriors and legendary creatures, sparking Branwen's imagination.

Cy: "Dewch i weld yr ogof lle cuddiodd y dywysoges wrth i’r gelynion amgylchu’r castell," meddai Rhys, gan gyfeirio at gangen dywyll o’r castell nad oedd yn bodoli mewn gwirionedd.
En: "Come and see the cave where the princess hid from the enemies surrounding the castle," said Rhys, pointing to a dark branch of the castle that didn't actually exist.

Cy: Gan iddi gael ei hudo gan ei geiriau, aeth Branwen i mewn i’r cyntedd a dychmygodd y lluniau cyntefig yn dod yn fyw o’i chwmpas.
En: Enchanted by his words, Branwen entered the courtyard and imagined the vivid scenes coming to life around her.

Cy: Yn y cyfamser, roedd Eira yn dal i gyfyngu ar ei chwerthin, gan wylio Branwen yn llawn rhyfeddod a Rhys yn dechrau teimlo'n fwy cyfforddus yn ei swydd dychmygol.
En: Meanwhile, Eira struggled to contain her laughter, watching Branwen full of wonder and Rhys starting to feel more comfortable in his imaginary role.

Cy: Ond fel pob chwedl, daeth y wirionedd i'r golau yn y diwedd.
En: But as in every tale, the truth came to light in the end.

Cy: Pan ddaeth grŵp o dwristiaid go iawn gyda’u tywysydd tuag atynt, gwelodd Branwen ei chamgymeriad.
En: When a group of real tourists arrived with their guide, Branwen saw her mistake.

Cy: Wedi i'r gwir ddod yn amlwg, roedd ofn ar Branwen y byddai’n teimlo’n gywilyddus neu'n betrus am ei chamgymeriad.
En: After the truth became clear, Branwen feared she would feel embarrassed or foolish about her mistake.

Cy: Fodd bynnag, teimlodd hi'n syndod o weld Rhys yn gwenu'n onest a dweud, "Doeddwn i ddim yn tywysydd go iawn; fi oedd yr un sydd wedi dysgu mwyaf heddiw, diolch i'ch dychymyg."
En: However, she was surprised to see Rhys genuinely smiling and saying, "I wasn’t a real guide; I was the one who learned the most today, thanks to your imagination."

Cy: Eira, a oedd byth bellach yn gallu cadw'i chwerthin i mewn, chwarddodd yn uchel, gan ddod â gwen i wynebau pawb.
En: Eira, who could no longer contain her laughter, burst out loud, bringing a smile to everyone's faces.

Cy: Collodd Branwen ei theimlad o gywilydd wrth iddi sylweddoli na ddylai petruso dros wybodaeth ofer, ond yn hytrach rhoi gwerth ar y chwerthin a'r cwmni oedd yn ei hamgylchynu.
En: Branwen lost her feeling of embarrassment as she realized that she shouldn't be ashamed of a simple mistake, but rather value the laughter and the company surrounding her.

Cy: Ac felly, yn y castell hwnnw dan awyr las Conwy, daeth tri ffrind newydd at ei gilydd, gan ddathlu eu helyntion drwy chwerthin a chyfrinachau a rennir.
En: And so, in that Conwy Castle under the sky blue, three new friends came together, celebrating their adventures through laughter and shared secrets.

Cy: Mae camgymeriadau weithiau'n rhoi cyfle i ni weld nad yr hyn rydym yn ei ddysgu sy'n bwysig bob amser, ond y bobl rydym yn eu cyfarfod a'r straeon rydym yn rhoi bywyd iddynt.
En: Mistakes sometimes give us a chance to see that what we learn is not always important, but rather the people we meet and the stories we give life to.
