Story Transcript:
Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod braf yn nhref Caernarfon ar lan y môr, lle saif castell hardd yng nghanol y tref.
En: It was a lovely day in the town of Caernarfon by the sea, where a beautiful castle stands in the middle of the town.
Cy: Gwen, Dylan a Evan oedd ar daith; tri ffrind â chlustiau llawn chwerthin a calonnau'n llawn antur.
En: Gwen, Dylan, and Evan were on a journey; three friends with ears full of laughter and hearts full of adventure.
Cy: Wrth gerdded o gwmpas y castell, roedd y tir yn rhyfeddol, a'r awyr yn las fel lliwiau baner Cymru.
En: As they walked around the castle, the land was amazing, and the sky was as blue as the colors of the Welsh flag.
Cy: Gwen oedd yn caru hanes, ac roedd hi'n adrodd straeon y castell i'w ffrindiau.
En: Gwen loved history, and she told the castle's stories to her friends.
Cy: Dylan oedd yr un gyda'i ben yn ei ffôn, bob amser yn chwilio am y llun perffaith.
En: Dylan was the one with his head in his phone, always searching for the perfect picture.
Cy: Ac Evan, wel, roedd Evan yn hapus yn mynd gyda'r llif.
En: And Evan, well, Evan was happy to go with the flow.
Cy: Cyrhaeddon nhw bont y castell, lle mae'r dŵr yn disgleirio dan haul y prynhawn.
En: They reached the bridge of the castle, where the water sparkled under the afternoon sun.
Cy: Dylan, gyda'i fryd ar selfie perffaith, aeth yn agos at ymyl y bont i gael y castell yn llawn yn y cefndir.
En: Dylan, intent on the perfect selfie, went close to the edge of the bridge to capture the castle in the background.
Cy: "Edrychwch yma!" gwaeddodd wrth Gwen a Evan.
En: "Look here!" he called to Gwen and Evan.
Cy: Ond wrth iddo ddal ei ffôn yn uchel i gipio'r olygfa, llithrodd o'i ddwylo ac yn uniongyrchol i'r ffos ddwfn dan y bont.
En: But as he held his phone high to capture the view, it slipped from his hands and straight into the deep moat under the bridge.
Cy: Sŵn plash a wynebau syfrdan i'w gweld ar bawb.
En: The sound of a splash and shocked faces were seen all around.
Cy: Roedd y ffôn wedi mynd!
En: The phone was gone!
Cy: "Oh na, fy ffôn!" ebe Dylan, wyneb mor wyn â cherrig y castell.
En: "Oh no, my phone!" said Dylan, face as white as the castle stones.
Cy: Gwen a Evan yn edrych i'r dŵr, llygaid yn chwilio am unrhyw arwydd o'r ffôn.
En: Gwen and Evan looked at the water, eyes searching for any sign of the phone.
Cy: "Bydd rhaid i ni ei godi o'r ffos," meddai Evan, yn benderfynol.
En: "We'll have to retrieve it from the moat," said Evan, determined.
Cy: Awenodd Gwen a chytunodd.
En: Gwen nodded in agreement.
Cy: Yn ffodus, roedd gweithiwr cynnal y castell wedi gweld y digwyddiad ac aeth i nôl rhwyd enfawr o'r ystafell offer.
En: Fortunately, a castle maintenance worker had seen the incident and came back with a huge net from the tool room.
Cy: Gyda Evan ar un ochr a Gwen ar y llall, taflodd Dylan y rhwyd i mewn i'r dŵr yn ofalus, gan obeithio am ryfeddod.
En: With Evan on one side and Gwen on the other, Dylan carefully threw the net into the water, hoping for a miracle.
Cy: Tro ar ôl tro, cipiwyd rhwyd anferth allan o'r dŵr heb y ffôn.
En: Time after time, the net was pulled out of the water without the phone.
Cy: Ond nid oedd y ffrindiau'n ildio.
En: But the friends didn't give up.
Cy: Ar ôl rerdeg dros bwll yn y rhwyd, teimlwyd lif o obaith.
En: After running the net through a puddle in the net, a glimmer of hope was felt.
Cy: "Dyna fe!" ymateb Gwen, gan ddangos i'r mannau lle daeth y ffôn i'r wyneb.
En: "There it is!" exclaimed Gwen, pointing to the spots where the phone surfaced.
Cy: Trwy ymdrech ar y cyd, llwyddodd nhw i geisio'r ffôn o'r ffos dŵr.
En: Working together, they managed to fish the phone out of the moat.
Cy: Dylan, yn ddiolchgar, agorodd ei ffôn.
En: Dylan, thankful, opened his phone.
Cy: Roedd y dŵr yn berygl i'r peiriant bach, ond roedd yn dal i weithio!
En: The water was a danger to the little device, but it still worked!
Cy: Wrth i Evan wenu ac Gwen chwerthin, roeddent i gyd yn rhoi gwerth ar y foment, gan addo pigo lluniau'n fwy diogel yn y dyfodol.
En: As Evan smiled and Gwen laughed, they all cherished the moment, promising to take safer photos in the future.
Cy: Wrth iddynt adael y castell gyda'i hanes a'i antur diweddaraf, roedd hi wedi bod yn ddiwrnod o gyfeillgarwch nad oedd yn mynd i'w anghofio mewn man cystal â cherrig trwch Caernarfon Castle.
En: As they left the castle with its history and latest adventure, it had been a day of friendship that wouldn't be forgotten as much as the towering stones of Caernarfon Castle.
Cy: A Dylan, wedi dysgu ei wers, oedd yn gwerthfawrogi pob selfie ychydig yn fwy.
En: And Dylan, having learned his lesson, appreciated every selfie a little more.
