Story Transcript:

En: On a bright morning, Adi woke up full of excitement to go to the market.

En: He intended to buy fresh bananas for his mother who was going to make a cake.

En: Meanwhile, in a bustling corner of the market, Siti, a fruit seller, was busy arranging her merchandise.

En: Adi walked past a row of stalls with sparkling eyes.

Id: Dia melihat berbagai macam buah yang warna-warni.
En: He saw various colorful fruits.

En: Suddenly, he was drawn to a basket that seemed to be full of bananas.

En: Without closely checking, Adi immediately took out money and gave it to Siti.

En: He took the basket and left with a satisfied smile.

Id: Begitu sampai di rumah, Adi terkejut bukan kepalang.
En: Upon arriving home, Adi was extremely surprised.

Id: Bukannya pisang, dalam keranjang terdapat seekor monyet kecil yang sedang makan satu buah pisang!
En: Instead of bananas, the basket contained a small monkey eating a banana!

En: Adi was confused and did not know what to do.

En: He had to go back to the market to resolve this issue.

Id: Sesampainya di pasar, Adi bergegas mencari Siti.
En: Upon reaching the market, Adi hurriedly searched for Siti.

En: He found her and with a frightened red face, Adi explained the incident.

En: Siti was surprised and immediately apologized for her mistake.

En: It turned out, the monkey was Siti's mischievous pet that liked to play among the fruits.

En: Siti then gave a bunch of fresh bananas to Adi and did not take any extra money as an apology.

En: Adi felt relieved and returned home with the bananas he had originally intended to buy.

En: Since that day, Adi and Siti became good friends, and he always checked his purchases twice before leaving the market.
