Story Transcript:

Ro: Într-o zi călduroasă de vară, în mijlocul cartierului liniștit unde locuia Andrei, un van misterios și negru parcase în fața uneia dintre case.
En: On a hot summer day, in the middle of the quiet neighborhood where Andrei lived, a mysterious black van was parked in front of one of the houses.

Ro: Fără niciun semn sau logo pe el, doar stătea acolo, atrăgând suspiciune și frică printre vecini.
En: Without any signs or logos on it, it just stood there, attracting suspicion and fear among the neighbors.

Ro: Andrei, un adolescent curios și inventiv, petrecea ore întregi citind romane de detectivi.
En: Andrei, a curious and inventive teenager, spent hours reading detective novels.

Ro: De când era mic, visase să rezolve mistere adevărate.
En: Since he was little, he dreamed of solving real mysteries.

Ro: Această ocazie i se părea perfectă pentru a-și demonstra abilitățile.
En: This opportunity seemed perfect to prove his skills.

Ro: Totuși, Iulia, sora lui mai mare și pragmatică, mereu îi amintea să fie atent.
En: However, his older and pragmatic sister Iulia always reminded him to be careful.

Ro: „Andrei, lasă-l pe Dan în pace,” spunea ea.
En: "Andrei, leave Dan alone," she would say.

Ro: Dan, vecinul lor nou și retras, era principalul suspect din cauza comportamentului său ciudat și trecutului umbrit.
En: Dan, their new and reclusive neighbor, was the main suspect due to his odd behavior and shady past.

Ro: „Asta e periculos. Nu e doar un joc.”
En: "This is dangerous. It's not just a game."

Ro: Într-o noapte, după ce părinții lor adormiseră, Andrei se furișă afară din casă, echipat cu o lanternă și un notebook.
En: One night, after their parents had fallen asleep, Andrei sneaked out of the house, equipped with a flashlight and a notebook.

Ro: S-a postat aproape de van, ascuns după un tufiș.
En: He stationed himself near the van, hidden behind a bush.

Ro: Privea atent în direcția casei lui Dan.
En: He watched carefully in the direction of Dan's house.

Ro: Nu după mult timp, Iulia, convinsă că fratele său avea nevoie de ajutor, ieși și ea:
En: It wasn't long before Iulia, convinced her brother needed help, came out as well.

Ro: „Nu pot să te las singur. Hai să vedem ce putem afla, dar cu cap.”
En: "I can't leave you alone. Let's see what we can find out, but smartly."

Ro: Deodată, Dan ieși din casă și se îndreptă spre van.
En: Suddenly, Dan came out of the house and headed towards the van.

Ro: Luminile se aprinseră și un bărbat misterios coborî din vehicul.
En: The lights turned on, and a mysterious man got out of the vehicle.

Ro: Andrei și Iulia se strecurară mai aproape, auzind frânturi din conversația lor.
En: Andrei and Iulia crept closer, hearing bits of their conversation.

Ro: „Marfa... depozit... mâine seară,” murmurau ei.
En: "The goods... warehouse... tomorrow night," they murmured.

Ro: Vanul începu să se miște și, fără să se mai gândească, Andrei sări pe bicicletă și începu să-l urmarească.
En: The van began to move, and without hesitating, Andrei hopped on his bike and started to follow it.

Ro: Iulia îl urma îndeaproape.
En: Iulia closely trailed behind.

Ro: Vanul îi duse la un vechi depozit din afara orașului.
En: The van led them to an old warehouse outside the city.

Ro: Odată ajunși acolo, cei doi urmăritori se ascunseră după o grămadă de lemne și priveau scena.
En: Once there, the two followers hid behind a pile of wood and observed the scene.

Ro: Cei doi bărbați descărcau cutii mari și discutau aprins.
En: The two men were unloading large boxes and talking heatedly.

Ro: „Andrei, trebuie să chemăm poliția!” șopti Iulia.
En: "Andrei, we need to call the police!" whispered Iulia.

Ro: „Stai puțin,” spuse Andrei.
En: "Wait a moment," said Andrei.

Ro: Amândoi rămase nemișcați, privind cu uimire.
En: Both stood still, watching in amazement.

Ro: Dintr-o dată, Dan ridică mâinile și rosti cu voce tare: „Gata, sunt detectiv privat.
En: Suddenly, Dan raised his hands and loudly said, "Enough, I'm a private detective.

Ro: Trebuie să terminăm cu acești hoți.”
En: We need to finish off these thieves."

Ro: Andrei și Iulia se strecurară afară din ascunzătoare.
En: Andrei and Iulia crept out from their hiding spot.

Ro: „Te putem ajuta,” spuse Andrei.
En: "We can help," Andrei said.

Ro: „Bine,” răspunse Dan, „dar fiți atenți.”
En: "Fine," replied Dan, "but be careful."
