Plas yn Ddol is one of the historic farm sites at Rhug Estate. It sits on the banks of the Afon Alwen (River Alwen) towards the western edge of the estate, nestled under the slopes leading to Craig Arthbry and Mynydd Betws.

This is where our foragers sustainably harvest wild dandelions, yarrow and hawthorn flowers for use in our range of organic skincare and bodycare : https://rhugwildbeauty.com/ingredients/

Plas yn Ddol translates from Welsh into English as 'hall in the meadow' or 'meadow hall', and when you look out from the edge of the farm across the fields of wild flowers bounded by ancient hedgerows you can see where the name came from.
This feels like a timeless landscape where you can immerse yourself in the sounds of nature.

Audio elements:
- gentle running water from the nearby river
- honey bees and pollenating insects
- birdsong from wild native birds
- leaves gently moving in the wind
