The ultimate teammate in building a winning team, that is who Holland Christian's Hudson DeBoer is for the Maroons' Division 3 State Champion boys swimming team! A 3.99 student in the classroom, Hudson has earned varsity letters in 3 different sports at Holland Christian. His first 3 years of high school he competed in the Maroons' soccer program, but this past fall he decided to run cross country for the varsity team and performed well. Swimming is Hudson's primary sport though, and this past weekend his true value as a student-athlete was defined when he earned a 9th Place in the 100 Freestyle event and finished 13th in the state in the 200 Individual Medley, earning Holland Christian enough points as a team to bring home the Div. 3 State Championship!!! When not in the pool or out for a run, Hudson also enjoys volunteering at Benjamin's Hope in Holland and as a timer at the Holland Christian girls' swim meets.
