Each week is something new on Behind the Mitten, Michigan's premier travel radio show and podcast. This week we have dispatches from all over Michigan, including a great interview with the retiring head of Pure Michigan, Dave Lorenz.

Dave Lorenz has been leading Pure Michigan, a department of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The organization is the leading force in Michigan tourism, and Lorenz has been its leader for the last 21 years. Lorenz joins us to discuss what he loved about representing Michigan to the world, and what we can hope for and expect from our next generation. We hope you'll give it a listen, we are putting a lot of faith into our fourth-grade students here in Michigan now.

We also reconnect with our good friend Corey Adkins, a former editor at TV 9&10. He's a lifelong Michigan resident, usually hanging out in the Cadillac region, with lots of regular travel to Paradise. He works at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum as their Communications and Content Creator now, and shares with us some of his favorite places to explore during deer hunting season. We'll hear about Paradise, Seney, Leota, Kalkaska, Lewiston, and maybe even Falmouth.
