Sk: Letné slnko žiarilo nad bratislavským vedeckým múzeom.
En: The summer sun shone over the Bratislava Science Museum.

Sk: Ladislav kráčal rýchlo do vnútra.
En: Ladislav walked quickly inside.

Sk: Vždy ho fascinovala fyzika.
En: He had always been fascinated by physics.

Sk: "Dnes je ten deň," pomyslel si.
En: "Today is the day," he thought.

Sk: Chcel nájsť vzácnu knihu o kvantovej teórii.
En: He wanted to find a rare book on quantum theory.

Sk: Martina už bola v múzeu.
En: Martina was already at the museum.

Sk: Lístky mala pripravené a tešila sa na prehliadku múzea a návštevu darčekového obchodu.
En: She had the tickets ready and was excited about the museum tour and visiting the gift shop.

Sk: Študovala literatúru a milovala historické texty.
En: She studied literature and loved historical texts.

Sk: Vo vnútri múzea bolo rušno.

Sk: " zvolal Ladislav.

En: Martina interrupted him.

Sk: "Prepáčte, ale tiež som si ju chcela kúpiť.
En: "Excuse me, but I also wanted to buy it.

Sk: Milujem takéto kombinácie historického textu a vedy.
En: I love such combinations of historical text and science."

Sk: "Obaja stáli pred jedinou kópiou knihy.
En: Both stood before the single copy of the book.

Sk: Museli sa rozhodnúť.
En: They had to decide.

Sk: Budú súperiť?
En: Would they compete?

Sk: Alebo si knihu niečím rozdelia?
En: Or would they share the book?

Sk: Chvíľu mlčky premýšľali.
En: They pondered silently for a moment.

Sk: Nakoniec sa Ladislav zhlboka nadýchol.
En: Finally, Ladislav took a deep breath.

Sk: "Mohli by sme ju čítať spolu," navrhol.
En: "We could read it together," he suggested.

Sk: "Mohli by sme ju skúmať a zdieľať naše poznatky.
En: "We could study it and share our insights."

Sk: "Martina sa usmiala.
En: Martina smiled.

Sk: "To neznie zle.
En: "That doesn't sound bad.

Sk: Mohli by sme založiť spoločné štipendium a pracovať na projekte spolu.
En: We could start a joint scholarship and work on the project together."

Sk: "A tak sa rozhodli.
En: And so they decided.

Sk: Kúpili knihu spoločne a začali nový projekt.
