Story Transcript:

Pl: Katarzyna i Paweł długo patrzyli na Bazylikę Mariacką. Tak daleko przyjechali, z tęsknotą w sercach, by zobaczyć Kraków. Kiedy cieszyli się jego urokami, zdania były krótkie, ale radosne.
En: Katarzyna and Paweł gazed at St. Mary's Basilica for a long time. They had traveled so far with longing in their hearts to see Krakow. As they enjoyed its charms, their sentences were short but joyful.

Pl: Któregoś dnia podjęli decyzję. Szukają Smoka Wawelskiego. Prawdziwego smoka, co to mieszka pod krakowskim wzgórzem. Mieli plan. Znaleźć posąg, potem ślady prawdziwego smoka.
En: One day they made a decision. They were looking for the Wawel Dragon. The real dragon that lives beneath the Krakow hill. They had a plan. Find the statue, then follow the tracks of the real dragon.

Pl: Ruszyli uliczkami Krakowa. Wawel był blisko, ale uliczki kręte. A może posąg był dalej? Katarzyna i Paweł zagubili się. Wszędzie kamienice. Nie było Smoka Wawelskiego.
En: They set off through the alleys of Krakow. Wawel was close, but the streets were winding. Or maybe the statue was further away? Katarzyna and Paweł got lost. There were townhouses everywhere. There was no Wawel Dragon.

Pl: Zdenerwowany Paweł mówi krótko: "Idziemy w złym kierunku". Katarzyna patrzy na mapę. "Szukajmy dalej" - odpowiada. Szli długo. Najpierw prowadzi Paweł, potem Katarzyna.
En: Annoyed Paweł said shortly, "We are going in the wrong direction." Katarzyna looked at the map. "Let's keep looking," she replied. They walked for a long time. First Paweł led, then Katarzyna.

Pl: Posąg smoka nie jest na mapie. Ale jest tajemnicza wysepka na rzece. "Może tam?" - Katarzyna pokazuje ręką. Ruszyli. Ścieżka wzdłuż rzeki prowadzi ich w głąb zabudowań. Domki są małe i stare. Brak śladów smoka.
En: The statue of the dragon is not on the map. But there is a mysterious island in the river. "Maybe there?" - Katarzyna points with her hand. They set off. The path along the river leads them into the depths of the buildings. The cottages are small and old. No traces of the dragon.

Pl: Nagle, w bocznej uliczce, zauważają cień. To Smok Wawelski! Jego brzuch jest duży, a łuski lśnią w słońcu. Smok bez ruchu. Katarzyna i Paweł podchodzą bliżej. To tylko posąg.
En: Suddenly, in a side street, they notice a shadow. It's the Wawel Dragon! Its belly is large, and the scales shine in the sun. The dragon is motionless. Katarzyna and Paweł approach closer. It's just a statue.

Pl: Czują się szczęśliwi. Znaleźli Smoka Wawelskiego! Teraz przychodzi czas na prawdziwe zadanie. Szukanie prawdziwego smoka. Ale to jest inna historia.
En: They feel happy. They found the Wawel Dragon! Now comes the time for the real task. Searching for the real dragon. But that's a different story.

Pl: Radosne zdanie Pawła brzmi: "Znalazłem smoka!". Katarzyna jest dumna. Wspólnie wracają na rynek. Mają nową siłę. Prawdziwa przygoda dopiero się zaczyna. Są gotowi.
En: Pawel's joyful statement is: "I found the dragon!". Katarzyna is proud. Together they return to the market square. They have new strength. The real adventure is only beginning. They are ready.
