God demonstrates His faithfulness to take care of you in the midst of chaotic and unpredictable situations in Ruth chapter 2. (Ruth 2:3) Yahweh's grace and sovereign hand are clearly at the forefront of His plan for Ruth time and again. He is constantly weaving every detail of her life and your life together for good in order to fulfill His Designed Purpose. (Romans 8:28)
In Ruth, God reveals that His sovereignty extends today over all your personal circumstances, including your shortcomings for His good purposes. God has predetermined your destiny (Romans 8:30) and divinely persuades you to do the good deeds you would do to fulfill it through the Holy Spirit! (Ephesians 2:10), reflecting God's faithful heart and love to you and through you.
Ruth recognizes that God’s favor was clearly being showered on her through Boaz (Ruth 2:10-13), and that this is all due to the cascading riches of His grace. And as God's delightful child, His tremendous love pours over you through your union with Jesus (Ephesians 1:5-6) glorifying His grace to help you in good time for every need that appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when you need it. (Hebrews 4:16)
