But now our landscape has changed double over in the past few months with both COVID-19 and The Black Lives Matter movement. We've already had to acclimate to dating in a world without touch, however, the BLM movement again police brutality has brought a new factor to re-consider: How do you date in a hyper-aware racial world?

In this episode of "Adult-ish," host Afiya is joined by her co-host, Vincent, to discuss the reality of interracial dating during a time where the injustices around race have been brought again to the forefront of our day-to-day.

Vincent gives his two-cents on being in an interracial relationship, while host Afiya unravels her thoughts regarding the nuances of dating not only a white person but a non-white POC who are targeted differently than Black people.

How do you handle dating someone who doesn't understand your struggles as a marginalized group in a country that doesn't acknowledge your worth?
