Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod hyfryd yn Eryri.
En: It was a lovely day in Snowdonia.

Cy: Roedd yr awyr yn las, a'r haul yn disgleirio yn uchel yn y nefoedd.
En: The sky was blue, and the sun shone high in the heavens.

Cy: Roedd Rhys a'i gyfaill Eleri yn penderfynu mynd am dro hir trwy Barc Cenedlaethol Eryri i fwynhau'r golygfeydd rhyfeddol.
En: Rhys and his friend Eleri decided to go for a long walk through Snowdonia National Park to enjoy the wonderful views.

Cy: Wrth iddynt gerdded ar lwybr cul, rhwng y brwyn a'r drain, roedd sŵn afonydd yn chwarae fel cerddoriaeth natur yn eu clustiau.
En: As they walked along a narrow path, between the hills and the streams, the sound of the rivers played like nature's music in their ears.

Cy: Roeddent wedi dod i fwynhau'r heddwch, ond nid dyna fyddai'n digwydd heddiw.
En: They had come to enjoy the peace, but that wouldn't be happening today.

Cy: Wedi teithio am oriau, roedd Rhys yn teimlo'n blinedig ac yn penderfynu cymryd seibiant.
En: After traveling for hours, Rhys began to feel tired and decided to take a break.

Cy: Gosododd ei freichiau ar garreg ac edrychodd ar y golygfeydd - yr wyddfa yn y pellter, y coedydd yn sibrwd gyda chân yr adar.
En: He rested his arms on a rock and looked at the views - the summit in the distance, the woods whispering with the birds' song.

Cy: Ond, pan oedd yn bryd parhau, fe wnaeth rhywbeth ryfedd ddigwydd.
En: But when it was time to continue, something strange happened.

Cy: Ar ôl cyrraedd am ei gefn, yn lle cipio ei bacpac fe grabiodd Rhys dafad!
En: After reaching for his backpack, Rhys grabbed a sheep instead!

Cy: Roedd y dafad yn synnu cyn gymaint â Rhys, ac yn syth dechreuodd redeg.
En: The sheep was as surprised as Rhys, and immediately started running.

Cy: Dechreuodd Eleri chwerthin yn uchel, ac yn fuan roedd Rhys hefyd yn chwerthin er gwaethaf ei sefyllfa.
En: Eleri began to laugh out loud, and soon Rhys was laughing too despite his situation.

Cy: Cafodd Rhys ei ddal mewn helfa ddoniol, yn mynd ar ôl y dafad o gwmpas y parc.
En: Rhys found himself in a comical pursuit, following the sheep around the park.

Cy: Drwy gnydau, dros nentydd, a hyd yn oed trwy bwll mwd, roedd y ddau'n neidio ac yn rhedeg.
En: Through bushes, over streams, and even through a mud pit, the two jumped and ran.

Cy: Ar ôl hynafiaid, roedd y dafad o'r diwedd yn rhoi i fyny, yn sefyll yn llonydd tra bod Rhys yn ceisio adennill ei hanadl.
En: Finally, after a chase, the sheep gave up, standing still while Rhys tried to catch his breath.

Cy: Fe wnaeth Eleri helpu Rhys i ddal y dafad, ac yn ofalus fe wnaethant ddatrys y sefyllfa drwy roi'r dafad yn ôl gyda'i diadell.
En: Eleri helped Rhys catch the sheep, and carefully they resolved the situation by returning the sheep with its herd.

Cy: Roedd y chwilio am y bacpac yn llawer symlach, gan fod Eleri wedi'i weld o dan goeden gerllaw.
En: The search for the backpack was much simpler, as Eleri had seen it under a nearby tree.

Cy: Roedd Rhys yn teimlo'n rhyddhad, ac yn edrych nôl ar yr holl helynt gyda gwên.
En: Rhys felt relieved and looked back at the whole adventure with a smile.

Cy: Doedd dim ond crwydradur wedi'i gamgymryd.
En: It was just a hilarious mishap.

Cy: Ar ôl hynny, parhaodd y ddau ar eu taith drwy Eryri, gan addo i gadw golwg well ar eu heiddo...
En: After that, the two continued their journey through Snowdonia, promising to keep a better eye on their belongings...

Cy: a pheidio â chodi defaid ar gam eto.
En: and not to accidentally raise sheep again.

Cy: Ac fel hynny, gadael y parc cenedlaethol â stori i'w hadrodd, a phwysicach fyth, gwers i'w chofio.
En: And so, they left the national park with a story to tell, and more importantly, a lesson to remember.
