Story Transcript:

Ro: Pe un drum sinuos, printre culmile înalte ale munților, un soare leneș începea să coboare spre asfințit.
En: On a winding road, among the high peaks of the mountains, a lazy sun began to descend towards the horizon.

Ro: Andrei, la volanul mașinii sale roșii, împingea pedala de accelerație cu o bucurie copilărească.
En: Andrei, at the wheel of his red car, pushed the accelerator with childlike joy.

Ro: Pe scaunul din dreapta, Elena își agita mâinile pe ritmul unei melodii vesele, în timp ce în spate, Cristina își lipise nasul de geam, admirând peisajul sălbatic al Transfăgărășanului.
En: In the passenger seat, Elena waved her hands to the rhythm of a cheerful tune, while in the back, Cristina had pressed her nose against the window, admiring the wild landscape of the Transfăgărășan.

Ro: "Uitați-vă ce frumos este aici!
En: "Look how beautiful it is here!"

Ro: " strigă Cristina, cu ochii strălucind de entuziasm.
En: exclaimed Cristina, her eyes shining with enthusiasm.

Ro: Andrei zâmbi, simțindu-se mândru că alese asta pentru escapada lor de weekend.
En: Andrei smiled, feeling proud that he chose this for their weekend getaway.

Ro: La un moment dat, după un viraj ascuțit, drumul deschise o scenă neașteptată.
En: At one point, after a sharp turn, the road revealed an unexpected scene.

Ro: O turmă de oi păștea liniștită, strecurându-se pe carosabil în mijlocul unui nor de praf.
En: A flock of sheep peacefully grazed, making their way across the road amidst a cloud of dust.

Ro: Andrei, surprins, călcase prea tare pe frâne, dar mașina alunecă puțin pe pietriș și intră drept în mulțimea albă și pufosă a oilor.
En: Surprised, Andrei pressed too hard on the brakes, but the car skidded a little on the gravel and went straight into the fluffy white crowd of sheep.

Ro: Balerinale ovinelor se risipiră într-un haos de mâţe și berbeci.
En: The ballet of the sheep scattered into a chaos of ewes and rams.

Ro: "Vai de mine!
En: "Oh my goodness!"

Ro: " exclamă Elena, izbucnind în hohote de râs la vederea oilor care fugeau speriate în toate direcțiile.
En: exclaimed Elena, bursting into fits of laughter at the sight of the scared sheep running in all directions.

Ro: Cristina, întorcându-se de pe banchetă, râse de asemenea, în timp ce Andrei se simțea ușor vinovat, dar și el nu putu să se abțină de la râs.
En: Cristina, turning back from the backseat, also laughed, while Andrei felt slightly guilty, but couldn't help joining in the laughter.

Ro: După câteva clipe de panică, un cioban îmbrăcat în haine tradiționale românești veni alergând spre ei, fluturându-și bastonul și rostind cuvinte în argou pastoral.
En: After a few moments of panic, a shepherd dressed in traditional Romanian clothes came running towards them, waving his staff and speaking in pastoral slang.

Ro: Cu un aer de autoritate, începu să-și strige turma înapoi, folosind un limbaj care le părea celor trei prieteni un cântec ciobănesc melodios.
En: With an air of authority, he began to call his flock back, using a language that seemed to the three friends like a melodious shepherd's song.

Ro: Andrei ceru scuze, sfios, iar ciobanul, văzând sinceritatea din ochii săi, dată cu mână lui peste umăr zicând, "Era să-mi pierd oile, dar văd că nu a fost cu răutate.
En: Andrei apologized shyly, and the shepherd, seeing the sincerity in his eyes, patted him on the shoulder, saying, "I almost lost my sheep, but I see it wasn't intentional."

Ro: ""Nu cumva știți unde putem să petrecem noaptea pe aici?
En: "Do you happen to know where we can spend the night around here?"

Ro: " întrebă Cristina, profitând de întâlnirea inedită.
En: asked Cristina, taking advantage of the unusual encounter.

Ro: Ciobanul îi îndrumă spre o cabană pitorească, ascunsă printre brazi, doar la câteva serpentine distanță.
En: The shepherd directed them to a picturesque cabin hidden among the fir trees, just a few hairpin turns away.

Ro: Îi asigură că vor fi primiți cu o ospitalitate călduroasă și că acolo, problemele orașului nu își găsesc locul.
En: He assured them that they would be welcomed with warm hospitality and that there, the problems of the city had no place.

Ro: Ușurați și în continuare amuzați de aventura lor, Andrei, Elena și Cristina își continuară drumul până la cabana promisă.
En: Relieved and still amused by their adventure, Andrei, Elena, and Cristina continued their journey to the promised cabin.

Ro: Noaptea, sub cerul înstelat, împărtășiră poveștile zilei în jurul unui foc de tabără, cu gândul că va fi o vacanță de neuitat, plină de râsete și peripeții pe unul dintre cele mai pitorești drumuri din România.
