They were up at the rain delay, but the M's lose again last night thanks to the bullpen blowing the lead in the ninth once again. Yes, they're sitting right at .500 right now, but they've fallen a long way in just the last few weeks. No one expected them to compete this year, but with the off chance that they're still alive, it's time to get the closer situation figured out. There is still a small chance that they're in this thing. We're still waiting to hear if Ziggy Ansah is going to be a Hawk or not. Jason La Canfora has the latest on that, and other potential players signing with Seattle. Based on where the Hawks are right now, are they worse or better than they were last season? Obviously some big pieces are either gone, like Clark, or potentially gone, like Baldwin. Some of the guys in the draft class look good, but we know absolutely nothing about how they'll actually perform at this point.
