Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd hi'n noson oer a thywyll ym mis Tachwedd, pan gerddodd Dylan i mewn i dafarn draddodiadol Gymreig.
En: It was a cold and dark November night when Dylan walked into a traditional Welsh pub.

Cy: Coed yn cracian yn y lle tân a chwerthin a sgwrsio yn llenwi'r awyr.
En: Wood cracked in the fire and laughter and conversation filled the air.

Cy: Mae Dylan wedi bod yn aros yr holl wythnos am nos Iau gyda'i ffrindiau, Rhys ac Eleri, i ymlacio a mwynhau peint o gwrw lleol.
En: Dylan had been waiting all week for Thursday night to relax and enjoy a pint of local beer with his friends, Rhys and Eleri.

Cy: Cyrraeddodd Dylan wrth y bar, a'i fendith oedd y barman yn gwenu wrtho.
En: As Dylan reached the bar, he was greeted with a smile from the bartender.

Cy: "Beth fydd hi heddiw, Dylan?
En: "What will it be tonight, Dylan?"

Cy: " gofynnodd y barman gyda phobl yn sefyll wrth ei ochr.
En: the bartender asked with people standing by his side.

Cy: "Peint o’r gwrw gorau sydd gen ti, os gwelwch yn dda," atebodd Dylan gyda cheinder a boddhad mewn disgwyliad.
En: "A pint of your best beer, please," Dylan answered eagerly.

Cy: Ond pan gyrraeddodd i mewn i'w boced i dalu, sylweddolodd ei fod wedi anghofio ei waled adref.
En: But as he reached for his wallet to pay, he realized he had forgotten it at home.

Cy: Gwelodd Dylan fod Rhys ac Eleri eisoes yn cydio yn eu cwrw ac yn chwerthin ar ystlys y dafarn.
En: Dylan saw that Rhys and Eleri were already settled with their beers, laughing at the corner of the pub.

Cy: A ddylai ofyn iddyn nhw dalu?
En: Should he ask them to pay?

Cy: Na, doedd Dylan ddim eisiau bod yn ddibynnol.
En: No, Dylan didn’t want to be dependent.

Cy: Gyda phryder yn ei galon ond creadigrwydd yn ei feddwl, trodd Dylan at y barman a dweud, "Mae gen i gynnig i ti.
En: With concern in his heart but creativity in his mind, Dylan turned to the bartender and said, "I have an offer for you.

Cy: Rwy'n hollol ymddiheuriadol am anghofio fy arian, ond beth am seren i ganu i bawb yn y dafarn am fy nghwrw i?
En: I'm truly sorry for forgetting my money, but how about a song to entertain everyone in the pub in exchange for my beer?"

Cy: "Edrychodd y barman arno gyda synnwyr o amheuaeth.
En: The bartender looked at him with a sense of doubt.

Cy: Roedd Dylan yn adnabyddus am ei lais canu cariadus, ond roedd hefyd yn ddiwrnod prysur ac nid oedd y barman yn siŵr ynglŷn â'r syniad.
En: Dylan was known for his soulful singing voice, but it was also a busy day, and the bartender wasn't sure about the idea.

Cy: Dylan rhannodd gwên annogol, yn abl i weld y syniad yn dechrau tyfu yn llygaid y barman.
En: Dylan shared an encouraging smile, able to see the idea growing in the bartender's eyes.

Cy: "Wyt ti’n siwr?
En: "Are you sure?

Cy: Gall hyn greu sioe ar gyfer y noson," meddai’r barman gydag ansicrwydd yn croesi ei wyneb.
En: This could create a show for the night," the bartender said with uncertainty crossing his face.

Cy: "Credaf y bydd yn wych, a bydd yn rhoi hwyl i bawb," atebodd Dylan gyda hyder.
En: "I believe it will be great and will bring fun to everyone," Dylan replied confidently.

Cy: Wrth i Dylan gamu i'r llwyfan bach yn y gornel, dechreuodd y sgwrsio a'r chwerthin leihau.
En: As Dylan stepped onto the small stage in the corner, the chatter and laughter began to subside.

Cy: Rhys ac Eleri yn edrych i fyny mewn synnwyr ffydd, yn gwybod bod Dylan yn cerddor galluog.
En: Rhys and Eleri looked up with a sense of faith, knowing that Dylan was a talented musician.

Cy: Dylan dechreuodd ganu cân draddodiadol Gymreig.
En: Dylan began to sing a traditional Welsh song.

Cy: Mae ei lais yn glir ac yn gynnes fel mantell yn amgylchynu'r dafarn.
En: His voice was clear and warm, enveloping the pub like a cloak.

Cy: Pob llygad arno, a phob clust yn gwrando.
En: All eyes were on him, and every ear was listening.

Cy: Wrth iddo ganu, mae awyrgylch y dafarn yn newid, pobl yn dechrau swnian gyda'r alaw, tra bo’r barman yn gwenu a'i ben yn gwneud.
En: As he sang, the atmosphere of the pub changed, people starting to hum along with the melody, while the bartender smiled and nodded his head.

Cy: Ar ôl i Dylan orffen y gân gyda chymeradwyaeth uchel a chlod o bobman, estynnodd y barman peint ato.
En: After Dylan finished the song to high praise and applause from everywhere, the bartender handed him a pint.

Cy: "Dyma dy gwrw, Dylan.
En: "Here's your beer, Dylan.

Cy: Peint da am gân dda," meddai gyda gwenu fawr.
En: A good pint for a great song," he said with a big smile.

Cy: Daeth Rhys ac Eleri drosodd, eu wynebau'n llawn balchder.
En: Rhys and Eleri came over, their faces filled with pride.

Cy: "Ti wedi gwneud yn wych, Dylan," ebe Rhys, yn gadael ei ysgwydd yn frwnt ar ei gefn.
En: "You did great, Dylan," said Rhys, patting him on the back.

Cy: "Ti wastad yn dod o hyd i ffordd," chwarddodd Eleri yn llon.
En: "You always find a way," cheered Eleri happily.

Cy: Dylan, yn awr yn dal ei beint, yn eistedd i lawr gyda'i ffrindiau, yn teimlo'r cynhesrwydd oedd y cwrw a'r camaraderie.
En: Dylan, now holding his pint, sat down with his friends, feeling the warmth of the beer and the camaraderie.

Cy: Daethant yma am noson dynn, ond daeth Dylan i hyd i'w lais a'i le yn y dafarn honno, lle roedd cyfrinachau a stoic yn byw, ac roedd cariad am adrodd, canu, a cwrw yn uno pawb.
En: They had a tight night, but Dylan found his voice and place in that pub, where secrets and stoicism lived, and love for storytelling, singing, and beer united everyone.
