show moreThis tense is used to express an action someone is doing or taking right now. It is formed with the verb "Estar" (conjugated for every person) and the "Gerundio" of a second verb. If this second verb is ending with -ar its gerund is formed by taking this -ar off and adding -ando (saltar/saltando), if the verb is ending with -er or -ir, we will add -iendo (Comer/comiendo, salir/saliendo).
