Uk: Літо у Києві було теплим та плідним.
En: The summer in Kyiv was warm and fruitful.

Uk: Район Технікум шумів від купи людей.
En: The Technikum district buzzed with crowds of people.

Uk: Великі будівлі з блискучими рекламними екранами стояли, як вартові, серед зелені парків.
En: Large buildings with shiny billboards stood like sentinels among the green parks.

Uk: Вулицями лунав веселий сміх і шум машин.
En: The streets echoed with joyful laughter and the noise of cars.

Uk: Саме сюди, в це місце, прийшли троє друзів: Олексій, Юлія і Богдан.
En: It was here that three friends came: Oleksiy, Yulia, and Bohdan.

Uk: Олексій, практичний та організований старшокласник, тримав у руках список.
En: Oleksiy, a practical and organized high schooler, held a list in his hands.

Uk: — вигукнула Юлія, не відводячи очей від яскравого виставкового стенду.
En: exclaimed Yulia, not taking her eyes off a bright display stand.

Uk: — Можливо, знайдемо інше місце, де знижки?
En: "Maybe we can find another place with discounts?"

Uk: — внес Богдан свої пропозиції, показуючи на маленьку книжечку зі знижками.
En: Bohdan suggested, showing a small discount booklet.

Uk: Натовпи великих магазинів перетворювалися на справжню проблему.
En: The crowds in the big stores were becoming a real problem.

Uk: Друзі йшли від одного до іншого, але ніде не знаходили всього потрібного.
En: The friends went from one to another, but couldn't find everything they needed anywhere.

Uk: Наставав вечір, і Олексій вже хотів здатися.
En: Evening was approaching, and Oleksiy was ready to give up.

Uk: — Досить!
En: "Enough!"

Uk: — різко сказав він.
En: he said sharply.

Uk: — Розділимося.
En: "Let's split up.

Uk: Я піду за основними речами, Юлія підбереш щось модне, а Богдан, якщо знайдеш знижки, покличеш нас.
En: I'll go for the essentials, Yulia, you pick something fashionable, and Bohdan, if you find discounts, call us."

Uk: Юлія надулась, але погодилася.
En: Yulia pouted but agreed.

Uk: Богдан кивнув.
En: Bohdan nodded.

Uk: Вони знову рушили в різні боки.
En: They set off again in different directions.

Uk: Час минав, і Олексій вже почав втрачати надію, як раптом Богдан повернувся з новиною.
En: Time passed, and Oleksiy was beginning to lose hope when suddenly Bohdan returned with news.

Uk: — Там, в маленькій крамничці в кінці вулиці, всі потрібні товари майже задарма!
En: "Over there, in a small shop at the end of the street, all the necessary items are almost for free!"

Uk: Друзі відразу ж поспіхом вирушили туди.
En: The friends hurried there immediately.

Uk: Крамничка була скромною, зате наповненою всім, що тільки потрібно.
En: The shop was modest but filled with everything they needed.

Uk: Вони встигли вчасно, адже інші магазини починали закриватися.
En: They made it just in time, as other stores were starting to close.

Uk: — Я радий, що ми об'єднали наші сили, — сказав Олексій, коли вони вийшли з магазину з наповненими пакетами.
En: "I'm glad we combined our efforts," Oleksiy said as they left the store with their bags full.

Uk: Юлія і Богдан посміхнулися, насолоджуючись вечірнім літнім повітрям і свідомістю вдало здійснених покупок.
En: Yulia and Bohdan smiled, enjoying the evening summer air and the satisfaction of successful shopping.

Uk: Олексій зрозумів, що іноді варто бути більш гнучким.
En: Oleksiy realized that sometimes it's worth being more flexible.

Uk: Зрештою, разом вони впоралися.
En: In the end, they managed together.
