Nl: Lars en Emma zijn in Amsterdam.
En: Lars and Emma are in Amsterdam.

Nl: In hun backpacks zitten broodjes kaas, appels en een kaart van de stad.
En: In their backpacks, they have cheese sandwiches, apples, and a map of the city.

Nl: De zon schijnt fel.
En: The sun is shining brightly.

Nl: Amsterdam ziet er prachtig uit.
En: Amsterdam looks beautiful.

Nl: Lars, met blonde haren en blauwe ogen, pakt zijn telefoon.
En: Lars, with blonde hair and blue eyes, takes out his phone.

Nl: "Ik wil een selfie maken", zegt hij.
En: "I want to take a selfie," he says.

Nl: Achter hem is de mooie Oude Kerk.
En: Behind him is the beautiful Oude Kerk.

Nl: Op het scherm ziet hij de oude geel-bruine stenen van de kerk, de blauwe lucht erboven en in een hoekje zijn eigen geschrokken gezicht net voordat hij viel.
En: On the screen, he sees the old yellow-brown stones of the church, the blue sky above, and in one corner, his own startled face just before he fell.

Nl: Lars lacht weer, dit keer van puur geluk.
