Uk: У самому серці галереї на пл. Ринок у Львові знаходиться затишне кафе "Під Золотою Розою". Тут, в тіни густого винограду і сонця, доторкнувшись до кінчиків пахучих гілочок, розмай вимірювався по штрихах старовинного годинника. Тишу зсували лише тріск вигораючого дощечки у каміні та щебет жайворонків. Саме сюди прийшли Оксана і Іван - два давніх знайомих, що вирішили згадати студентські роки та випити каву.
En: In the heart of the gallery on Market Square in Lviv, there is a cozy cafe called "Under the Golden Rose". Here, in the shade of dense grapevines and the sun, as the strokes of an ancient clock measured time, the tranquility was interrupted only by the crackling of a burning log in the fireplace and the chirping of birds. It was here that Oksana and Ivan, two old acquaintances, came to reminisce about their student years and have a cup of coffee.

Uk: Оксана, відчувши подих минулого, замовила каву українською. "Гарячу чорну каву, будь ласка", - сказала вона впевнено. Офіціант, тут молодий студент із університету, прийняв замовлення з усмішкою і побіг до кухні. Але щось пішло не так. Замість обіцяної чорної кави, через кілька хвилин, перед Оксаною стояла гаряча чашка борщу.
En: Feeling the touch of the past, Oksana confidently ordered her coffee in Ukrainian. "Hot black coffee, please," she said. The waiter, a young student from the university, took the order with a smile and rushed to the kitchen. But something went wrong. Instead of the promised black coffee, a few minutes later, a steaming bowl of borscht was placed in front of Oksana.

Uk: Оксана подивилась на чашку, а потім на Івана. І тут вони обоє зрозуміли, що почали вже сміятись. Їх регіт заповнив кафе, змушуючи всіх подивитися на них. Але офіціант стояв спантеличено, не розуміючи що відбувається. Він не міг зрозуміти своєї помилки, навіть не дивлячись на борщ замість кави.
En: Oksana looked at the bowl, and then at Ivan. And both of them understood that they had already started laughing. Their laughter filled the café, prompting everyone to look at them. But the waiter stood there bewildered, not understanding what was happening. He couldn't comprehend his mistake, even with the borscht instead of coffee in front of him.

Uk: Посміхаючись до сльоз, Оксана пояснила помилку офіціанту, за що вона обіцяла випити борщ і замовити нову чашку кави. Офіціант зі смішком приніс каву, а Оксана і Іван продовжили свою зустріч, згадуючи студентські роки.
En: Smiling through tears, Oksana explained the mistake to the waiter, for which she promised to drink the borscht and order a new cup of coffee. The waiter brought the coffee with a playful smile, and Oksana and Ivan continued their meeting, reminiscing about their student years.
