It: Il caldo sole di Roma brillava sulle pietre travertino della Piazza Navona, quella mattina.
En: The hot sun of Rome shone on the travertine stones of Piazza Navona that morning.

It: Maria, con sul viso un sorriso sorridente quanto timido, era occupata con il suo lavoro di venditrice di gelati.

It: A pochi metri da lei, Luigi, un turista curioso e allegro, ammirava la fontana del Bernini.
