Story Transcript:
En: Once upon a time in sunny Ljubljana, there lived a girl named Katarina.
Sl: Vsako soboto je obiskala tržnico v mestu, kjer je kupila sveže sadje in zelenjavo.
En: Every Saturday, she would visit the market in the city to buy fresh fruits and vegetables.
En: One day, as the first rays of sun were awakening over the Ljubljanica river, Katarina went to the market with her friend Aleš.
En: As they browsed through the stalls, they came across Mihov, who was selling the juiciest oranges.
En: Mihov was well-known throughout Ljubljana, as his oranges were not only tasty but also hilariously large.
Sl: "To so pomaranče, ob katerih postaneš oranžen," se je rad šalil.
En: "These are oranges that will turn you orange," he liked to joke.
Sl: Aleš in Katarina sta si ogledovala pomaranče, ko se je zgodilo nekaj nenavadnega.
En: Aleš and Katarina were admiring the oranges when something unusual happened.
En: Mihov wanted to demonstrate just how juicy an orange could be, and suddenly a stream of juice squirted onto Katarina's shirt.
En: All three of them stood in shock, then burst into laughter.
En: Katarina's shirt was completely orange, and as people noticed her shirt, they laughed and started buying Mihov's oranges left and right.
Sl: Katarina je kmalu postala prava atrakcija tržnice.
En: Katarina soon became the main attraction of the market.
Sl: "Zdaj si pa prava pomaranča!
En: "Now you really are a proper orange!"
En: teased Aleš, as Katarina laughed and squeezed the juice out of her shirt.
En: "I seem to be a walking advertisement for your oranges today, Miha," she said cheerfully.
En: In the end, Mihov offered Katarina a new shirt and a handful of oranges to apologize for the sudden 'juice shower'.
Sl: Katarina je sprejela darilo in skupaj s prijatelji so še dolgo uživali ob sveže iztisnjenem pomarančnem soku, medtem ko so opazovali živahno dogajanje na ljubljanski tržnici.
En: Katarina accepted the gift, and together with her friends, they enjoyed fresh orange juice for a long time, while observing the lively atmosphere at the Ljubljana market.
En: And so, this unusual incident at the market became an opportunity for laughter and good cheer among the residents of Ljubljana.
En: Katarina, Aleš, and Miha would gather at the market every Saturday, always with a smile on their faces and ready for new adventures.
