show moreThe conversation began with EJ and MH thoughts on the ‘Untold’ itself. MH gave his opinioned on the hype of the Indiana Pacers in the documentary that didn’t match what reality was. EJ chimed in on the fans featured on the documentary and the infamous referee Tim Donaghy. From there, who was the real culprit and instigator of the incident. The fellas nominated several individuals, Ron Artest, Ben Wallace, Jamaal Tinsley, Fan or John Green. Former NBA Commissioner David Stern had to hand down discipline for the incident and it was significant. MH went into detail about what suspensions and fines to both the Pacers and the Pistons cost the players. Then the aftermath, they discussed the immediate media reaction and the repeated use of the code word ‘Thug’ and it’s code meaning when describing the incident and the NBA.
Lastly, the where are they now? EJ hit on some of the major projects former Pacer Jermaine O’Neal currently oversees as well as ex teammate Stephen Jackson and his project ‘All the Smoke.’
