The "Prophecy of Scripture" Part 8 gives a review and summary of the meaning, character, and nature of the prophecy of scripture according to 2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Tim. 3:15, 16). The Church must be reminded constantly of the sufficiency of scripture: that of its complete and final revelation by which God has disclosed to the church today (Heb. 1:1-2a). For the Church to "substitute" God's Word for some "newer" revelation of the spirit have in fact denied that of the true faith (1 Tim. 4:1).
