The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference as the NBA heads into the All-Star break. However, there are still questions about who this team is and how they'll perform during the second half of the season. This week, we're diving into some Sixers analysis and storylines that'll be prevalent over the next few weeks and months. Great topics were discussed!
But first, we dove into this past NFL season that was plagued with controversial storylines. We looked at the continual failings of the NFL that have essentially become normal for this league. The question we asked was, is the league actually trying to get better, or is it just a mirage? (approx. 7:10)
From there, we discussed hazing at college football programs, and more specifically the shut down of New Mexico State University's men's basketball program for the remainder of the season due to allegations of false imprisonment, criminal sexual contact and harassment. Why does hazing in college sports continue to persist? (approx. 23:20)
We then talked about the upcoming Phillies season as it pertains to the starting pitching rotation, specifically how 19-year-old Andrew Painter is going to fit into the mix. (approx. 35:55)
What we threw down on the Table this week was an in-depth discussion about the Sixers, their season, and how we should be viewing this team the rest of the season. How the Matisse Thybulle for Jalen McDaniels trade impacts the team. Should Tyrese Maxey get back to being part of the starting lineup? Who has more pressure on them for the remainder of the season: Joel Embiid or James Harden? Plus much more Sixers talk on the Table this week! (approx. 44:34)
