Story Transcript:

Lt: Saulėtą sekmadienio rytą, Eglė ir Mindaugas nusprendė aplankyti Trakų Salos Pilį.
En: On a sunny Sunday morning, Eglė and Mindaugas decided to visit Trakai Island Castle.

Lt: Vaizdas buvo nuostabus – pilis žydrajame ežero vandenyje atrodė kaip iš pasakos ištraukta.
En: The view was magnificent – the castle on the azure lake looked like it was taken right out of a fairy tale.

Lt: Įėjusi į pilį, Eglė pasijuto kaip laikmaštyje.
En: Upon entering the castle, Eglė felt like she had stepped back in time.

Lt: Senoviniai akmeniniai sienos ir medinės durys kalbėjo apie senus laikus.
En: The ancient stone walls and wooden doors spoke of times long past.

Lt: Mindaugas džiaugėsi galėdamas pamatyti šį istorinį turtą.
En: Mindaugas was thrilled to see this historical treasure.

Lt: „Kokia graži pilis!“, – sušuko jis, keliaudamas per salę.
En: “What a beautiful castle!” he exclaimed as they walked through the hall.

Lt: Viduje jie vaikščiojo po kambarius su senoviniais baldais ir paveikslais.
En: Inside, they wandered through rooms filled with antique furniture and paintings.

Lt: „Ar žinai, Egle, kad šią pilį statė Vytautas Didysis?“, – paklausė Mindaugas.
En: “Did you know, Eglė, that this castle was built by Vytautas the Great?” Mindaugas asked.

Lt: „Taip, žinau. Labai įdomu matyti istoriją savo akimis“, – atsakė Eglė.
En: “Yes, I know. It’s fascinating to see history with our own eyes,” Eglė replied.

Lt: Kai jie apžiūrėjo pilies vidų, nusprendė vykti į ežerą.
En: After they explored the castle interior, they decided to go to the lake.

Lt: Jie nuėjo prie vietos, kur galima pasimėgauti laivu.
En: They went to a spot where they could enjoy a boat ride.

Lt: „Paimkime valtį ir paplaukime!“, – pasiūlė Mindaugas.
En: “Let’s take a boat and row!” suggested Mindaugas.

Lt: Eglė sutiko, norėdama pajusti ežero vėsą.
En: Eglė agreed, eager to feel the coolness of the lake.

Lt: Jie įlipo į mažą medinę valtį.
En: They climbed into a small wooden boat.

Lt: Mindaugas griebė irklus, o Eglė atsisėdo priekyje.
En: Mindaugas grabbed the oars, while Eglė sat at the front.

Lt: Valtis ėmė švelniai plaukti per Lake Galvė vandenis.
En: The boat began to glide gently across the waters of Lake Galvė.

Lt: Jie galėjo matyti pilį iš kitos pusės, kurioje ji atrodė dar įspūdingiau.
En: They could see the castle from the other side, where it looked even more impressive.

Lt: „Ar matai tuos žuvis vandenyje?“, – paklausė Eglė.
En: “Do you see those fish in the water?” Eglė asked.

Lt: „Taip, jos turbūt mėgaujasi saulės šviesa kaip mes“, – atsakė Mindaugas.
En: “Yes, they’re probably enjoying the sunlight just like us,” Mindaugas answered.

Lt: Jie abu juokėsi ir džiaugėsi nuostabiu oru bei nuostabiais vaizdais.
En: They both laughed and delighted in the wonderful weather and stunning views.

Lt: Staiga debesys pradėjo rinktis, ir vėjas stiprėjo.
En: Suddenly, clouds started gathering, and the wind picked up.

Lt: Ežeras tapo neramus.
En: The lake became restless.

Lt: Eglei pasidarė baisu.
En: Eglė started to feel scared.

Lt: „Reikia grįžti į krantą!“, – pasakė ji.
En: “We need to get back to the shore!” she said.

Lt: Mindaugas irklavo greičiau, bet bangos kėlėsi aukščiau.
En: Mindaugas rowed faster, but the waves grew higher.

Lt: Valtis pradėjo siūbuoti.
En: The boat began to rock.

Lt: „Nenukrisk!“, – perspėjo Mindaugas, kai Eglė pastatė savo koją rūpestingai.
En: “Don’t fall!” Mindaugas warned as Eglė carefully placed her foot.

Lt: „Mes galime tai padaryti, nesijaudink, Egle“, – pridūrė jis, stengdamasis išlaikyti kontrolę.
En: “We can make it, don’t worry, Eglė,” he added, trying to maintain control.

Lt: Galiausiai jiems pavyko grįžti į krantą.
En: Eventually, they managed to return to shore.

Lt: Jie abu buvo peršlapę ir pavargę, bet džiaugėsi esantys saugūs.
En: They were both soaked and exhausted but happy to be safe.

Lt: „Tai buvo tikras nuotykis!“, – juokdamasi pasakė Eglė.
En: “That was quite the adventure!” Eglė said, laughing.

Lt: „Taip, bet kitą kartą pasirūpinsim geresniu oru“, – nusišypsojo Mindaugas.
En: “Yes, but next time we’ll make sure of better weather,” Mindaugas smiled.

Lt: Abi sutarė, kad net ir audra negali sugadinti tokios nuostabios dienos.
En: They both agreed that not even a storm could spoil such a wonderful day.

Lt: Taip jie grįžo į Trakų miestą, laimingi ir kupini įspūdžių.
En: Thus, they returned to the town of Trakai, happy and filled with experiences.

Lt: Diena Salos Pilyje ir kelionė valtimi taps jos mėgstamiausiomis prisiminimais dar ilgai.
En: The day at Island Castle and the boat trip would become some of their favorite memories for a long time to come.
