Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar fore braf yn y pentref hir ei enw, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, roedd dwy ffigur yn sefyll yng nghanol y maes parc, edrych yn ddryslyd.
En: On a lovely morning in the village known by its long name, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, two figures were standing in the middle of the park, looking thoughtful.

Cy: Eleri a Gethin oedden nhw, dau ffrind crwydrol a llawn antur, ond heddiw roedd ganddyn nhw broblem fawr.
En: They were Eleri and Gethin, two adventurous and lively friends, but today they had a big problem.

Cy: "Ti'n cofio sut i ddweud enw'r pentref, Gethin?" gofynnodd Eleri gyda llygad llawn amheuaeth.
En: "Do you remember how to say the name of the village, Gethin?" Eleri asked with a skeptical look.

Cy: Gethin, gydag ymgais hyderus ond camgymeriad amlwg, atebodd, "Wrth gwrs, Eleri! Fe yw Llanfairpwll... Llanfairpg... Llan... o, anodd yw e!"
En: Gethin, with a confident yet obvious mistake, replied, "Of course, Eleri! It's Llanfairpwll... Llanfairpg... Llan... oh, it's difficult!"

Cy: Wedi i'r cymylau lifo heibio'n heddychlon, gwnaethant ddysgu'r enw yn araf. "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch," medden nhw drosodd a throsodd, hyd nes bod y geiriau'n clymu eu tafodau fel cwlwm llym.
En: After the peaceful clouds drifted by, they slowly learned the name. "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch," they repeated over and over, until the words clung to their tongues like a tight knot.

Cy: Yn fuan, roedd yr enw hir hwnnw wedi mynd â nhw ar daith ar draws llefydd cudd y pentref, lle nad oedd na map na chyfarwyddiadau i'w canllawio.
En: Soon, that long name took them on a journey across the hidden places of the village, where there was no map or directions to guide them.

Cy: Gwyntoedd chwerthin a sibrwd cyfrinachau oedden nhw'n ei glywed wrth iddynt grwydro, y geiriau dewiniaeth yn boddi yn nhro'r pentref.
En: They heard whispers of laughter and secrets as they wandered, the magical words sinking into the village's soul.

Cy: "Rydyn ni wedi mynd ar goll, Eleri," cyfaddefodd Gethin, ei lygaid yn lledu. "Mae'r ffordd yn ôl wedi mynd!"
En: "We are lost, Eleri," Gethin admitted, his eyes widening. "The way back is gone!"

Cy: Eleri, heb ofni, atebodd, "Peidiwch â phoeni. Fe awn yn ôl trwy ddilyn ein calonnau."
En: Unafraid, Eleri responded, "Don't worry. We will go back by following our hearts."

Cy: Felly, dychwelodd hwy trwy'r coed, dros y nentydd, a heibio'r caeau lle roedd y defaid yn pori, bob un yn ceisio ailadrodd, ail-leoli, a dysgu'r enw hudolus yn eu meddyliau.
En: And so, they returned through the woods, over the streams, and past the fields where the sheep grazed, each trying to repeat, reposition, and learn the enchanting name in their minds.

Cy: Ar ôl ymdrechion dieithriad, gwelodd Eleri oleuni tŷ bach wedi ei orchuddio â chlematis. "Gethin! Mae'n gartref ni`rma."
En: After foreign attempts, Eleri discovered the light of a small cottage covered in clematis. "Gethin! This is our home."

Cy: Bu plant y pentref yn chwerthin wrth iddyn nhw ddychwelyd, eu hieithoedd wedi blino ac eu calonnau yn llawn hwyl.
En: The village children laughed as they returned, their languages tired and their hearts full of joy.

Cy: O'r diwrnod hwnnw ymlaen, penderfynon nhw alw'u pentref yn 'Llanfairpwll', er mwyn osgoi unrhyw droeon peryglus eto.
En: From that day onwards, they decided to call their village "Llanfairpwll," to avoid any dangerous wrong turns again.

Cy: Ac fel hyn, daeth Eleri a Gethin adref, gyda chwerthin a chariad i'r enw maen nhw byth yn anghofio eto.
En: And in this way, Eleri and Gethin returned home, with laughter and love for the name they would never forget.
