Story Transcript:

Ja: ハルトは渋谷のスクランブル交差点に立っていました。
En: Haruto was standing at the scramble intersection in Shibuya.

Ja: 週末の午後、交差点は人で溢れていました。
En: On a weekend afternoon, the intersection was overflowing with people.

Ja: 大きな広告のスクリーンが輝いていて、車のクラクションが響きました。
En: Large advertisement screens were shining, and car horns were blaring.

Ja: ハルトは友達と待ち合わせをしていました。
En: Haruto was waiting to meet his friend.

Ja: 友達の名前はケンタロウです。
En: His friend's name is Kentaro.

Ja: ケンタロウは少し遅れると言いました。
En: Kentaro had said he would be a little late.

Ja: ハルトは退屈しないように、周りの人を観察しました。

Ja: 「お兄ちゃん、道が分からないの」と言いました。
En: "Mister, I don't know which way to go," she said.

Ja: ハルトは驚きましたが、優しく笑いました。
En: Haruto was surprised but smiled kindly.

En: "Where do you want to go?" Haruto asked.

Ja: 女の子は涙を浮かべて「ママを探してるの」と言いました。
En: The girl, with tears in her eyes, said, "I'm looking for my mom."

Ja: ハルトは周りを見回しました。
En: Haruto looked around.

Ja: しかし、女の子のママは見当たりません。
En: However, he couldn't see the girl's mom anywhere.

Ja: 「一緒に探そう」とハルトは言いました。
En: "Let's look for her together," Haruto said.

Ja: 女の子の手を握り、交差点を歩きました。
En: He held the girl's hand and walked through the intersection.

Ja: 人が多くて大変でしたが、ハルトは頑張りました。
En: It was tough because there were so many people, but Haruto persevered.

Ja: やがて、人混みの中で泣いている女性を見つけました。
En: Eventually, they found a woman crying in the crowd.

Ja: 「ママ！」と女の子は叫びました。
En: "Mom!" the girl shouted.

Ja: 女性も女の子に気付きました。
En: The woman noticed the girl too.

Ja: 「あなた！どこに行ってたの！」と女性は泣きながら言いました。
En: "Where did you go!" the woman said, crying.

Ja: ハルトは安心しました。
En: Haruto was relieved.

Ja: 「よかったです」と言いました。
En: "I'm glad," he said.

Ja: 女の子と女性は感謝して「ありがとう」と言いました。
En: The girl and the woman thanked him, saying "Thank you."

Ja: その時、ケンタロウが現れました。
En: At that moment, Kentaro appeared.

Ja: 「ハルト、お待たせ！」と元気に言いました。
En: "Sorry to keep you waiting, Haruto!" he said cheerfully.

Ja: ハルトは笑って「いや、大丈夫」と答えました。
En: Haruto smiled and replied, "Oh, it’s alright."

Ja: 「素敵な冒険をしていたよ」と冗談を言いました。
En: Then he joked, "I just had a little adventure."

Ja: ケンタロウは少し不思議そうでしたが、ハルトは笑顔でした。
En: Kentaro looked a bit puzzled, but Haruto was smiling.
