Ca: Amb un sol brillant que cau sobre les cases pintades de colors vius a Barcelona, comença nostra història.
En: With a bright sun shining down on the colorful houses in Barcelona, our story begins.

Ca: Al nucli de la ciutat, al laberint que és el Barri Gòtic, tres amics, Martí, Júlia i Laia, tractaven de compaginar el seu amor per la festa amb l'arribada de turistes que volien festejar durant tota la nit.
En: In the heart of the city, in the labyrinth that is the Gothic Quarter, three friends, Martí, Júlia, and Laia, tried to balance their love for partying with the arrival of tourists who wanted to celebrate all night long.

Ca: Eren tres amics que tenien una petita empresa de guies turístiques, i estaven acostumats a explicar tot tipus de coses als seus clients.
En: They were three friends who had a small tour guide company, and they were used to explaining all sorts of things to their clients.

Ca: Però hi havia una cosa que els turistes sovint no entenien: la siesta.
En: But there was one thing that tourists often didn't understand: the siesta.

Ca: Aquells viatjants d'altres parts del món solien preguntar per què era tan comú descansar a les primeres hores de la tarda.
En: Those travelers from other parts of the world would often ask why it was so common to rest in the early afternoon.

Ca: Amb alegria i paciència, Martí, Júlia i Laia decidiren donar una lliçó sobre l'importància de la siesta.

Ca: Van començar a explicar que la siesta permetia a la gent descansar abans de reiniciar l'activitat per a la resta del dia.

Ca: Laia, sempre molt divertida, dit: "La siesta ho és tot!
En: Laia, always very funny, said, "The siesta is everything!

Ca: És l'espera de la nit, el preludi de la festa!

Ca: "Júlia va afegir més detalls, "Quan el sol està al seu zenit, tot Barcelona es retira a descansar.

Ca: "Uns turistes francesos que estaven fascinats pel que sentien, van decidir provar-la.

Ca: La nit següent, van confessar que la festa havia estat molt millor després d'una bona siesta.
En: The next night, they confessed that the party had been much better after a good siesta.

Ca: Els turistes ho van entendre, la siesta no era una pèrdua de temps, sinó al contrari, els permetia carregar piles i gaudir més dels bells racons de Barcelona.
En: The tourists understood, the siesta was not a waste of time, but on the contrary, it allowed them to recharge and enjoy more of the beautiful corners of Barcelona.

Ca: Amb aquesta preciosa lliçó, Martí, Júlia i Laia van assolir el seu objectiu.

Ca: Els turistes van partir cap a nous destins, però sempre recordant aquella siesta màgica a Barcelona.

Ca: I així, al final, tots van aprendre a valorar aquesta tradició espanyola tan especial, la siesta.
