show moreNo. 4 Ohio (18-3-6) will host No. 24 Kent State (19-10-1) in its final regular season series. With the absence of its top two point scorers in forward Gianni Evangelisti and defenseman Jake Houston, along with forwards Cody Black and Austin Heakins out because of injury, Ohio is going to once again have to shuffle its roster in order to find success against a formidable opponent.
In the coming weeks, the Bobcats will play in both the Central States Collegiate Hockey League tournament as well as the American Collegiate Hockey Association national tournament. Pending the results against Kent State, the Bobcats will look to hold their No. 4 spot and earn a first-round bye in the national tournament.
