In this episode, I talk about the Motivational Triad and how the primitive part of our brains have evolved to survive. The Motivational Triad was helpful for survival, but not helpful when we want to create healthier habits, start a new venture, find a romantic partner, or do anything new. The primitive part of our brain wants to keep us safe, and this safety can become self-sabotage when we’re trying to do new or challenging things in our lives. We’ll look at how we get in our own way because of the Motivational Triad AND how to get out of our own way by redefining the Motivational Triad and using our prefrontal cortex.   Watch April Yee livestream here
