50 Cent Declares Loyalty To Eminem: 'I Love Him'
Rappers and rap fans are taking sides in the feud between hip-hop icons Eminem and Snoop Dogg. One of the kings of industry beef, 50 Cent, has expressed his loyalty to Eminem, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Snoop rivalry.
50 Cent Gives Eminem Credit
50 Cent went on Twitter to reflect on his biggest single, 2003’s “In Da Club.” He also gave Eminem credit for giving him his big break.
“You ain’t gonna believe this one but 18 years ago today I dropped a song I recorded in LA and it’s still spinning 1,000 times a week on the radio. I tell @eminem I love him for what he did for me, he put me on.”
Daz Reveals How Eminem Vs. Snoop Dogg Beef Started
Long Beach rapper Daz Dillinger has provided some insight as to why longtime collaborator Snoop Dogg and Eminem have been feuding. Daz says Eminem refused to spit a guest verse and ever since then, there's been bad blood between the two.
“He took it personally, and that’s why you never heard a song from Snoop and Em since then.” – Daz Dillinger
Royce Da 5’9 Speaks On Their Beef
Detroit rapper Royce Da 5’9 spoke on the matter in the “Drink Champs” interview as well. He backed up his friend Slim Shady but also said he didn’t need to actually diss Snoop on a song.
“He was just like, d*mn… the energy that was coming off of Snoop in that interview, [whether] he meant no harm or not, I think he just looked at it like, it’s a more respectful brotherly way to say what you said,. But I agree, it didn’t have to be a diss in a song behind it.”
Eminem Takes Aim At Snoop Dogg
On the song “Zeus” from his new album Music to Be Murdered By – Side B, Eminem raps, “As far as squashin’ beef, I’m used to people knockin’ me / But, just not in my camp / I’m diplomatic ’cause I’m tryna be / But last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me / Man, dog, you was like a d*mn god to me / Man, not really / I had ‘dog’ backwards.”
