Saint Nicholas had one little boy on his mind and that was Mrs. Jones little boy. His name was Brandon. He was a mama’s boy. Brandon knew his mom was sick. His mom had been sick for over 2 years with cancer. Brandon was only 6 years old. He often wondered what he would do without his mother though he had his father too. Brandon loved both of his parents, but he felt closer to his mom.
Brandon was visited by Old Man Troll in his dreams. He heard a wicked laugh in his sleep telling him that his mom was going to die. Brandon never told his mother the dream. He tried to be happy for his mom because he knew it would break her heart to see him sad. Brandon put on a smile but he was unsure in his smile. Deep down inside, he was hurting wondering what Christmas was going to be like.Saint Nicholas knew that Brandon’s mom had only one more Christmas to see. He went to visit all of Mrs. Jones’s neighbors who talked about her behind her back. However, nobody recognized him as Saint Nicholas because he did not appear to them as Saint Nicholas.
Saint Nicholas: Why come you don’t go visit your neighbor?
The neighbors: Well, she doesn’t visit anyone. She’s Mrs. goody two shoes.
Saint Nicholas hung his head and took a deep breath.
Saint Nicholas: Don’t you know that Mrs. Jones is very sick? She hasn’t been able to visit much.
When Saint Nicholas told the neighbors the news, they were very sad because they did not know. Mrs. Jones kept to herself and her husband never mentioned a word to the neighbors. So the neighbors got together a week before Christmas and made plans to give Mrs. Jones, her husband, and son a big dinner. Mrs. Jones was not able to cook and neighbors knew how she loved to cook.
When Christmas came around, Mrs. Jones, her husband, and her son had the biggest surprise of their lives. They did not expect anyone to come visit them in their hard time at Christmas. This made Brandon very happy because his mother was full of happy tears.
That night, Brandon laid down to sleep. It was his bed time. That’s the night that he saw Saint Nicholas standing in his room at the foot of his bed. He knew that when he saw Saint Nicholas he was his angel.
Brandon: My mom is going to die isn’t she?
Saint Nicholas: Pray for your mother. You’ve been a good boy. Pray for your father. Heaven may have more good gifts in store for you. Merry Christmas!
Saint Nicholas vanishes away. Old Man Troll would not show his face because of Saint Nicholas. He did not want to be around. Old Man Troll was very angry that Brandon had a good Christmas after all. After seeing Saint Nicholas it gave Brandon faith that his mother would live some more years in good health.

Song: If you feel like life is getting you down
It's the evil - evil troll.
Sending spirit of lonely when no one's around
It's the evil - evil troll.
Just tell him to get away from my door.
I'm gonna have Christmas
A good one once more
evil - evil troll.
The evil troll sits up high and looks down at a city full of people making evil plans.
Troll: It's so boring today. There is not enough evil in this city near Christmas. I ain’t worried about the greedy crowd. I have them in the palm of my hands already. It’s those loving families that I’m worried about. All year round they make me sick.
I see Mrs. Jones little boy so content at home making paper airplanes. He’s a special child with great upbringing, but I have to bring him down with sadness. I can’t do it with Christmas! He’s too happy in life although he doesn’t have much. Now if I can bring sickness to Mrs. Jones and get her husband fired, there will be no meal on the table and Mrs. Jones can head for the hospital. Then the hold doggone family can be filled with sadness. I don’t understand why that family is so content.
The evil troll looks to his left looking down and he sees St. Nicholas.
Troll: Look at that crazy, bloody, and red piece of crap thinking he’s the Lord of Christmas. That Nicholas guy is one man I can’t stand. He’s always trying to be a savior or a hero. Look at em. Trying to break up a fight. Oh! Let the boys fight! Nicholas is always standing in the way of trouble. Got to get him out of the way. If I can get him out of the way, I can have the world completely.
See, that's what evil does. It comes around argument and trouble to stir things up more. Don't let the evil troll get into your Christmas ....

Saint Nicolas appeared in the dark and said,
St. Nicholas: What does Christmas mean to you? I’m a little upset with these Christmas’s. Who do you say that I am? Am I St. Nicholas or Santa Clause?
Saint Nicholas appeared on a crowded street in a big city of shopping stores.
St. Nicholas: All I see is angry men shopping and fighting over material things when the holidays come around. It’s the spirit of the mean and ugly troll. Some people hide their gifts, and they forget about decorating with the big bright lights. They do not appear to celebrate because of thieves. I see so much greed. I see so called love once every Christmas. There ought to be love all the time. There are so many sad faces. There has been so much disaster, and people have lost their homes in the storms. Christmas is starting to look like a day slapped on the calendar. Some people celebrate it before the turkey is cooked and done for Thanksgiving. There are people ready to see Christmas come and go. It’s becoming a burden to some. Some people are too tired to even celebrate it being overworked for very little pay.
Saint Nicholas appeared in front of a church.
St. Nicholas: People want to know what is Christmas, and they want to know whether it really is the day that Christ was born. I can see why some people wonder. It’s all about Santa, but it’s supposed to be about Christ. It’s about having him in your life. Yes, I am Saint Nicholas, and I dedicate my life to God. He is the one that should be worshiped. However, some people worship things and made up gods. I can hear the evil troll laughing at everyone now. I have a request, and I'm making my request to God.
