  • Episode 5: Our Streets

    21 JUN 2024 · https://friendlystreetshamilton.wordpress.com/ was a prominent and long-standing project of EH's.  Originating as a pilot project with http://www.cyclehamont.ca/, Friendly Streets was designed to engage people towards more walkable, bikeable and vibrant neighbourhoods — especially in Hamilton’s downtown core.  The project then shifted to centre on Black, Indigenous and Racialized Communities—a collaborative initiative between the https://accahamilton.wixsite.com/info, Environment Hamilton, and the https://hcci.ca/. This stemmed from a recognition that streets are experienced in unique ways by different communities for various reasons.
