16 MAY 2024 · Weight Loss Guide For Parents pt. 1
What does it actually take to lose weight?
Over the next few weeks I'm going to cover different topics on weight loss and the challenges parents face, and provide tips to help you on your journey!
This week is an overview on what is coming.
I talk about 4 of the main topics on weight loss: workouts, food quality, food quantity, and sleep/recovery.
Plus the main challenges parents face: lack of time, emotional/stress eating, and lack of prep work.
There are plenty of other challenges parents face when trying to lose weight, and I will cover most in future talks, but most actually come back to those 3.
Give this one a listen and look out for part 2 when we take a deeper dive!
28 MAR 2024 · In this week's episode we're recapping our 21 day challenge, and I give 5 key takeaways that helped people get awesome results over the 3 weeks.Â
These 5 keys are something that everyone should focus on, but especially moms and dads! These keys will help you stay on track, even when it feels like you have no time.
Give it a listen and if you enjoy it please like it and share it with someone who might find it helpful.
Thanks!
14 MAR 2024 · In today's episode I'm talking about why people fail at their diet or training program.
Most of the time it's because they're jumping too many levels from where their baseline is.
Their baseline is at level 1, yet they're trying a level 5 diet. Then when life gets busy and they can't stick to the diet, they fall all the way back to level 1 because they haven't built up their baseline.
Building up your baseline means taking it slow. Changing one thing at a time. Making it extremely easy to stick to. Then you can increase from there.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think!
29 FEB 2024 · In this weeks episode we're checking in with our goals for 2024.
Remember those resolutions that you set at the beginning of the year? How are you doing with them?
We're at the end of February already, which means we're 1/6 of the way through 2024! That's 17% of the year.
So, are you 17% closer to those goals you set?
If you're not, it's probably because of 2 reasons.
1. The program you're following isn't right for you. (less common)
2. You haven't changed your habits. (most likely)
You're still falling back into your old habits and justifying them with the same reasons.
I can't workout because I'm too tired from work.
I can't get to the gym so I won't do anything.
I don't have food prepped so I'm going to pick up a big burrito on the way home.
It's time to change that!
One of the best ways to do that is with a defined end program. A program with a set end date. That way you can concentrate on that stretch of time to build habits, stay focused, and start to get the results you want.
On Monday March 4th we have a 21 Day Clean Eating Challenge starting. Though could be the perfect way for you to kickstart your journey to your goals!

15 FEB 2024 · This week I'm sharing my 3 keys to nutrition that are WAY better than any diet out there.
In fact, 95% of diets fail, and 65% (or more) regain the weight they lost on their diet.
Instead, if we just look at 3 keys the get results and are easy to stick to and do those everyday, we never have to mess around with diets again!
The 3 are....
Hitting your protein goal.
Having meal and snack structure.
Making simple meals with a variety of flavors.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think! Thanks!
31 JAN 2024 · In this episode we're tackling the first step to becoming a fit parent in 2024, which is finding time to workout.
Finding time to workout can definitely be tough between kids, family life, work, and other obligations, but it's certainly not impossible!
In the episode I lay out 3 tips that will help you find the time to workout and reach your goals!
16 JAN 2024 · I'm back at it in 2024!
We're starting off the new year talking about 3 simple keys that every parent should do to be fit and healthy this year.
1. Find workouts that fit your schedule, goals and lifestyle.
2. Meal prep a couple things each week. Protein, veggies, and a carb.
3. Move more overall! A 1 hour workout doesn't cancel out the other 23 hours of the day. Go for walks, get up and move more this year!
20 DEC 2023 · In this episode we're diving into my top 5 tips to being a healthy & fit parent in 2024.
It's tough to balance work, family life, and trying to workout and eat healthy. It might feel impossible!
But use these 5 tips to simplify the process and make 2024 your best year yet!
Make sure to listen into each tip because I give a lot more detail as I dive in.
Also, tip 5 is my favorite and probably not one that you've heard before, so make sure to listen!

22 NOV 2023 · We're talking all things parenthood, fitness, and nutrition.
In today's episode I get into the problem that a lot of parents have, which is finding the time to grocery shop/cook healthy meals, and then settling for eating out.
The problem with this is that restaurants in our society make it tough to find a healthy option.
I go through a couple of my most recent experiences with this.
I also talk about the EMOM (every minute on the minute) workout format and how great it is when you only have 10-20 minutes to workout.
Then we tlak about about Peyton's newest words and the brutal honesty that kids give that is both hilarious and heart breaking.
I hope you enjoy the episode! Please share it with someone if you liked it, or leave a review.
